JUNE 2017 FMGE/MCI Exam Analysis

DAY 1:

As per the reviews of the Students, it is observed that the second half of the exam was quite difficult as compared to the first half.PSM contained the highest number of questions followed by ENT and Anatomy. PSM seems to be ruling the test.

‘One-Liners’ seemed to rule the FMGE exam (Day 1 session). Candidates stated that 80% of questions were based on ‘One Liners’ while only 20% were on ‘Clinical Scenarios’.
Some Students termed the Examination "DiFFICULT" While others seem to be Weighing it "Tricky"
PSM Section had lots of updated Questions on MALARIA AND TB.
DAY 2:
As per the review of the Students, First half of the exam was difficult as compared to the second half BUT still better than Day 1 session. "First paper consisted Core Basic Questions and were confusing" one of the students quoted.
‘One-Liners’ seemed to rule the FMGE exam (Day 2 session). Candidates stated that 90% of questions were based on ‘One Liners’ while only 10% were on ‘Clinical Scenarios’.
No Questions were asked from OBG Oncology section while Pathology and Pharmacology Consisted not more than 15 Q together. Students were heard saying "We Prepared Biostats very well looking at the last FMGE (Dec 2016 Session)Exam and was hoping to do well. To my surprise, I didn't find any Question from this section."
While ENT Seems to be easy, Biochemistry consisted more than 20 Q as against 17 While PSM consisted more than 40 Q as Against 30 according to the Marks Distribution Enlisted by MCI.
The subjects which carried considerably low weight age in June FMGE exam are as follows:
